Abortion has always been a hot-button issue in most US elections and these midterms are no different.
But this year, emotions about abortion are particularly raw after the Supreme Court struck down constitutional protections for the procedure in June.
Now it is up to individual states to decide whether to allow abortions, and voters in Michigan are getting a chance to have their say.
