UN chief calls for ‘armed action’ in Haiti amid growing crisis

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says action is needed to end the blockade of a key port by gangs and allow fuel and aid to reach the country.
Thousands of people have protested in the capital of Haiti, as the United Nations discussed measures to address the country’s dire security crisis.
The United States is proposing to send international troops after the Haitian government asked for military assistance.
