UN concerned about spread of cholera in flood-hit Pakistan

Healthcare services in Pakistan are struggling to cope with outbreaks of waterborne disease.
Torrential monsoon rains have caused some of the country’s worst flooding in decades, displacing hundreds of thousands and leaving many cut off from health services.
The World Health Organization says it is stepping up monitoring for cholera and acute diarrhoea.
